I just wanted to fall back to the original purpose of this blog for a brief moment.

“All of us online MBA-ers need to communicate to the world at large our experiences during the process of earning an online degree”

It behooves us to do this because it will set the stage in the future for how online degrees, particularly MBAs are perceived by hiring managers, peers, families, friends and corporate America at large when compared to traditional brick and mortar MBAs.

[CURRENT QUESTIONS]

• How are online degrees currently viewed?
• Do you have any stories to share negative or positive about other’s perception of your engagement with an Online MBA?
• What changes would you like to see in the way Online MBAs are received?
  

[JUST IN]

Peter and I were having a conversation last night about inviting our fellow students in our current classes. [back drop] Peter and I attended MBA 500 together and are now in different MBA 520 sessions.

It occurred to us that by utilizing technologies/methods of communications such as:

• News groups
• E-Mail
• Web Seminars
• PowerPoint
• Conference Calls
• Working 24/7
• Working in remote teams
• Working with a culturally diverse teams
  
  

We are actually sharpening our basic skills needed to foster our careers in corporate America. I have an associate who’s obtaining her MBA at a traditional Brick and Mortar in New York and let me tell ya! After three months in a “Technology Project Management” class she has not even began to touch the issues we addresses in MBA 500, much less MBA 520.

She is going to class as a student where she becomes a better student. We are going to class as professionals, where we are becoming better professionals.

MAYBE I SHOULD INVITE HER TO CONTRIBUTE TO ADD TEXTURE?!!!!
